Our team works together to engineer, project manage, manufacture, construct and service cutting edge products for utilities and industrial customers around the world.

We are currently looking for an Inspection Services Technician for our Nuclear Energy (Nuclear Services Group) in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.

• Coordinate steam generator inspection services and execution.
• Create, select and use appropriate procedures and equipment.
• Develop and implement process changes/improvements through lessons learned and project execution experience.
• May review or oversee the work of others who perform routine assignments.
• Work unsupervised in field of discipline while following the appropriate procedures.
• Further responsibilities will include continuous improvement program, performance measurement and ownership of lessons learned pertaining to Steam Generator/Reactor Inspections.
• During project execution this person will work in the field as a lead Platform Technician responsible for inspection activity in the field.

Job Qualifications / Requirements

• Good technical aptitude complemented by completion of a post-secondary mechanical related Technician/Technologist diploma preferred or NDE certifications.
• Exceptional computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to work within procedural requirements.
• Good understanding of Nuclear Services policies and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
• Willingness to travel - extensive site work/travel (up to 75%).
• Field projects will require shift work and extended work hours.
